Baking Books Recommendations

Hey, guys, it is me again!          Today I wanted to share some books that might be in your interests. Some are basic and others are more dedicated to techniques. I like to have lots of books that can help me get better at what I LOVE to do! One of my philosophies is "The more you read, the more you'll learn, the more you grow."          First,  Baking with the Cake Boss . I absolutely love the show and I discovered this book which I totally recommend. It has lots of recipes and how to do things. It is illustrated so we can know exactly what the results at home should be.       This next book is for those who are reading this blog because they love baking BUT as myself haven't taken any classes here is a book that I think will help you get started. It is called: Simple easy Baking 101. This book has easy to make recipes such as pies, bakes, tarts and much, much more.   ...

Chocolate Whipped Cream Frosting

Hello guys!      A couple of days ago I was making a vanilla cake and decided to make a chocolate frosting. This is what I made and it was delicious!!!! It is my favorite CHOCOLATE frosting EVER!! You are going to need just four ingredients and I PROMISE you are going to LOVE IT!! Lets me know in the comments if you like it. Here it is what you need... Ingredients: 1 cup of heavy cream 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract  2 1/2 tablespoons of white sugar 2 1/2 tablespoons of 100% UNSWEETENED COCOA POWDER  Steps:  Put everything in a large bowl and whip at medium speed until stiff peaks form. Use immediately or cover and let it chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes if you want to eat it cold.  Note: Can be used for cakes and cupcakes. Delicious as ICE CREAM topping!! I encourage you to try it!

If you do not bake a lot, just do it in special occasions or holidays a hand mixer is fine for you. BUT if you bake a couple of times a week or freeze big quantities you definitely need a stand mixer.      2. You will definitely need a spoon shaped spatula or a set of spatulas . In my case I always need more spatulas. I mean its like every time I bake I run out of everything in my kitchen.      3...
