Caramel Brownies

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup of butter
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • caramel syrop (not shell)

Steps:

  1. Preheat oven at 350F 
  2. Grease an 8x8 pan 
  3. Melt 1/2 cup of butter and remove from heat. 
  4. Add sugar, eggs and vanilla. Stir.
  5. In another bowl, beat cocoa, flour, salt and baking powder.
  6. Add the first ingredients to the dry ones. Stir until mixed well.
  7. Pour into the 8x8 pan.
  8. add caramel syrup in lines around the batter. 
  9. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until completely done. Check after 25 minutes to be sure. 
  10. Let it cool. 
  11. Add caramel syrup. 
*Can use different size of pan if you prefer thicker or thinner brownies.
