Caramel Brownies
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup of butter
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- caramel syrop (not shell)
Steps:
- Preheat oven at 350F
- Grease an 8x8 pan
- Melt 1/2 cup of butter and remove from heat.
- Add sugar, eggs and vanilla. Stir.
- In another bowl, beat cocoa, flour, salt and baking powder.
- Add the first ingredients to the dry ones. Stir until mixed well.
- Pour into the 8x8 pan.
- add caramel syrup in lines around the batter.
- Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until completely done. Check after 25 minutes to be sure.
- Let it cool.
- Add caramel syrup.
*Can use different size of pan if you prefer thicker or thinner brownies.
