Calzone and Elias's Mini Calzone

Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons of Baking Powder
  • 1 cup of warm water
  • 1 teaspoon of white sugar
  • 2 1/2 cups of all purpose flour
  • 3 teaspoons of olive oil 
  • 1 teaspoon of salt 
  • 1 egg 
Inside Ingredients:
  • Sauce
  • Meat 
  • Chicken 
  • Mozzarella cheese/ non-dairyVeggie Cheese 

Steps:
  1. Preheat oven at 450° Fahrenheit  or 230° Celsius 
  2. Dissolve baking powder and sugar in warm water
  3. Stir the flour, salt and olive oil. Let it rest for 5 minutes. 
  4. Mix everything into a dough. Then take 1/3 of the dough and make a small ball. 
  5. Flat the big dough and add sauce, meat, chicken, and mozzarella cheese. 
  6. Close the calzone
  7. Stir 1 egg in a small bowl. 
  8. Brush egg on top of the calzone so it does not open. 
  9. Bake for 20 minutes. 
*For small calzone do not add mozzarella cheese, add veggie cheese or do not add cheese. Do steps 1 to 6 and after closing the calzone brush olive oil on top of the calzone.

*Add Italian spices in the egg or olive oil before brushing.
